CLINIC TRAINER: RICK PETERSON, FREEDOM RIDGE STABLES, BELGIUM, WI

Rick started working with and riding Saddlebreds in the late 1970’s. He worked with a well-known Saddlebred trainer to further his knowledge. He was an assistant trainer to a Saddlebred facility in Illinois. He has shown professionally in the “A” Circuit and has owned a champion Saddlebreds. Rick has now opened his own boarding and training facility, “Freedom Ridge Stables,” where he is presently training Morgan’s and other breeds.

To further his training education, Rick has spent some one on one time with Eitan Beth-Halachmy at his ranch in California. At present he is training horses in Western Pleasure, Saddle Seat, and Harness.
Rick has two horse entered in the futurities at the Jubilee in Springfield, Illinois and will be showing several horses at the Grand Nationals in Oklahoma City, Ok.
