Butterflies hatched into this world.
Feeding and growing on the plant which they hatched.
Ever changing, developing, they curl up into a cocoon to be born again.
Into a thing of beauty and grace.
Children born into our lives.
They grow and learn from their parents, ever learning, seeking knowledge.
One day they begin to feel trapped, in a cocoon.
As they develop into adults.
One day they struggle free of the parental cocoon.
To spread their wings as the butterfly does.
Ever feeding on the nectar of knowledge.
The nectar from many flowers, throughout their lives.
Some old, some young. There is knowledge to be gained from all.
Each feeds our thirst for knowledge. Feeds our desire to learn, to grow.
Respect the flowers in your life. Take care of them.
You'll miss them when they are gone.
Just as the frost saps the strength from the butterfly.
So does time sap our fountain of knowledge.
The butterfly must have nectar to survive.
Just as we must have knowledge to live.
Learn something new each day.
Share your knowledge with others.
What do you have to loose?
You have but the world to gain.
